Indians will organize ICAN awards show



ROLLING MEADOWS, IL – The Indian American Community in Chicago will host 1st ICAN Awards and Gala on March 18 in northwest suburbs of Chicago.

The event will be attended by not-for-profit organization leaders, Indian American business leaders, State and local government officials, and hundreds of people from Chicago and the suburbs.

According to Jassi Parmar, professional MC, radio jJokey, and ICAN concept & entertainment head, told reporters that ICAN’s Awards Night will honor individuals from Indian American Community who have been making extraordinary contributions in different fields.

Hari Patel, eminent community leader for senior citizens and ICAN brand ambassador, urged the community members to nominate their heroes so that deserving people get the awards.

Neil Khot, Community Leader, Businessman and Head, ICAN Branding & Strategy said that the event will be a source of inspiration for Indian Americans to take up similar activities across the length and breadth of the US.

Sanjeev Singh, Senior IT Professional and Head, ICAN Awards & Process said that nominations will open on December 12th 2016 and the first round will close on December 31st. The Process team will evaluate and publish list of Nominees on the Website. The Nominations will close on February 5th 2017 at 12.00 am
