High Level Process

Step 1: Review Award Categories
Review the categories and choose the best nomination category that fits the Nominee.

Step 2: Submit Nomination
Fill The Online Nomination Form and Submit Nomination in appropriate Category.

Step 3: Submit Supporting Proof :(When Asked)
Go to on the Awards page on Facebook and Upload a video, Pictures or write a small paragraph describing what you have done or why should the Committee should select you.
- Step 4: Get Community Support/Votes
Share your nomination on Social Media and get recommendations from family and friends .

Step 5: Wait for the Nomination Results
After Round 1 is completed, the Nomination Committee will evaluate the nominations and make recommendations to the Board for review and final selection. The Nomination Team will verify all nominees’ eligibility before routing nomination forms to the nomination committee for review. The Team reviews the entries to ensure that nominations are in the correct category and indeed meet the eligibility requirements. The selected nominations will be Announced for Round Awards consideration
The Nomination Committee:
The committee members are carefully-screened by our Executive Board, consisting of Desi Junction radio Hosts, print media representatives, Business Professionals, educators, photographers, festival presenters, and other well know community members. The nominators are chosen from the iHope Foundation’s members, with a focus on geographical balance and extent of involvement within the Indian American Community. Most are from the Local Chicago area, but we are accepting nominations from other parts of the country.
